Discontinuing...

Discontinuing until school is finished and my health situation settles... *Sad* Will definitely be resuming, or rather restarting, in the summer, hopefully early July :)

Kind of hard to keep this up when stuck in the hospital for almost two weeks, heh. Will be deciding soon what I am going to do because I want to continue. :)

Day 57 - Flower

Spent the day with my friend Kelsey pretty much :) As we walked down a path I caught sight of a batch of these pink flowers and I took them all the way home. I want more :D

Dedicated to Kelsey because she can be real sweet! It's nice to friends who stick by no matter what :P

I looked out my window and heard this conversation. The mom must be telling this cute little toddler about every car! Highlight of my day, the way they spoke was just too cute!

Day 51 - Late

It's late for me at least, lol. 9 is my bedtime, but lately it's getting later and later *Yawn.*

Day 50 - Baby Rattie

Got myself a new rat yesterday. The two older ones took to the little guy quickly, about 24 hours later when I tried to get some pictures, they wouldn't leave him. They kept the little guy (Named Ben thanks to my dad!) hidden from me for the most part.

He's cute, and soft! :)

Day 49 - Lupus

May 10th is lupus awareness day.
Lupus is an autoimmune disease that can effect virtually any part of the body. Arthritis and a rash is a big component of it, and the butterfly rash (Red across the cheeks and bridge of the nose) is a tell-tale sign. It is not easy to diagnose. Day 46 - Little Gamer

My niece encouraging me to keep playing guitar hero :P She also helped at one time by turning the xBox off. Better go play outside lol

Day 45 - Halifax

Left at 9am and didn't come home until 6:30. From the shopping mall to the hospitals and all the traffic around and in between - I think I had my fair share of the city experience.

This was taken at the top of the parking lot, peering down at a building next to the QE2. At least shopping with my friend, Kelsey made up for the inevitable appointments. :)

PS: Picture from yesterday is nonexistent. I guess I had a lot of my mind and forgot about it! Will count this as day 45 and continue on. Thanks to everyone who keeps encouraging me to do this - Messages, in person, like's/fav's and comments are all very much appreciated!

Day 44 - Writing

Wish I could just write, draw and be creative forever :) It's so relaxing and fun, but time consuming too. Can't wait for summer so I can concentrate more on things I WANT to do!

Day 43 - Learning

It's so nice to have help understanding, even when it comes to homework, even if it's hand-me-down learning. My friend Kelsey gets taught... and then she teaches me :P

...And handmade cards are always a great way to say thanks :) Her tutor is lucky - the card is so sweet :)

PS: I know I make a lot of my images bright, but are they TOO bright?

Day 42 - Reading

Getting back into reading and starting a collection of books I used to love. Lurlene McDaniel is an amazing author.

This is 'Keep Me In Your Heart" a compilation of three stories. I'm reading "Saving Jessica" - about a teenage girl going through kidney failure and how her boyfriend fights to save her. :)

Was trying to get a picture of some feathers in my hair. You know how hard it is to take a picture of yourself, especially while holding a tiny rodent who is stupid enough to just walk off any surface?

Day 35 - Big World

It's a big scary world out there and while we like the safety of somewhere like home, curiosity, I know at least for me, brings us outside and into new situations where we can learn and, hopefully, be happy.

Day 34 - Niece

Every time I get to see her she is doing something new. My niece is now pulling herself up.

So happy to get to spend time with her, she is very sweet and can be very funny to watch :P

Day 33 - Easter

Spent most of the day cooking, baking and making a mess. This is the first time I've really attempted to decorate a cake - it was fun :P

Day 32 - Biology Lesson

Went out for a biology lesson with a friend. Trekked through the woods, through thorns and many fallen trees, looking for anything interesting.

Nice change to get out and get a little dirty :)

Got caught up in a good book and neglected my project - oops. so here is my little dwarf hamster Balder.

Balder was the sweet one and his brother, Loki, was an evil little guy. (In Norse mythology, Loki and Balder were not brother's but Loki ended up killing Balder :P)

Lots of fun today remembering old songs with my friend Kelsey and both of us realizing the others taste in music isn't so bad :P

She had a Spice Girl's song on her mp3 player - boy was I surprised!

Day 27 - Painting

Went down to the Clayground with my friend Kelsey on this rainy afternoon. You can't mix paints, their items are full of little nic's and their brushes sucked - but all in all it was awesome.

Good to have friends who don't argue - that you can enjoy time with instead of regret, lol.

Day 25 - Bad Quality

Well, showing my two hobbies in a way - Photography and digital painting! That little canon powershot is what I typically use but I used my iPhone today as I didn't want to look for my tripod and waited until late to get a picture...

Anyways, the picture in the background is one I have been working on for about two months now, with lots of "break" time - AKA I just picked it back up after a month....

Day 20 - New Favourite

I believe I have new loved wild animal - this cute house-looking cat! Went out for an awesome time with the family to the zoo and here was this little guy I had never seen before.

I will have to update later on what it is as I cannot recall it. Maybe it really is a house cat in a cage :P

Edit - A Bengal leopard cat. There were two and one is named Raindrops :)

Day 19 - Niece

She is fascinated by our dog, they will grow up well together, heh!

I love having my niece over :)

Day 18 - Always Remember

These are my friend's sponsor kids - she is amazing and adores those cuties so much. I love hearing her talk about them, those kids are so lucky to have her, and she is so lucky to have them!

We gain memories all the time, and some can stem from the strangest of places. Cherish those times in life when all you could do was smile, and now look back and be thankful.

A camera can capture those precious moments, that's why I love photography :)

Day 17 - Simplicity

Nothing interesting happened today so a simple flower is what you get :)

Day 16 - Termporary Space

The pets had space to play as I waited for the new furniture to arrive. Thought this was a cute picture even though it's not of them having fun, heh.

It's getting so nice out, I love the sun, I love how bright it is out now :)

Day 15 - Tired of it

I want to kill homework :P

All day I did homework and I'm tired of it, but it will help me in the long run. I will make this annoying work well worth it. Only a few more months of it...

Day 14 - Adventure

Well, my day began as usual but turned as soon as I decided to walk all the way home from school with my friend  Kelsey - a good hour and a half walk I believe.

Like 10 minutes after I get inside, we then decide to go for Chinese! So we rush off to the bus that ends up being 20 minutes late.

We get to the next town and realize - the restaurant isn't open on Mondays so we go to the bulk barn (More like Bulk Candy Galore) and stock up on much needed treats before heading back to the town of Wolfville and settling with  eating at Paddy's that was over flowing with people!

An adventurous day indeed :) Lots of fun!

Day 13 - My Wardrobe

...It now consists of many dresses thanks to my mother.

The white one is hers and it's very pretty and fits her perfectly :)

Day 12 - Shopoholic

Spent nearly the whole day shopping with my mom :) Lots of fun! Full of healthy food and good purchases (Well... maybe just one or two good purchases and McDonald's....)

Good but long day none-the-less.

Day 9 - Watchdog

Ended up skipping Global History today and this is my friend Kelsey keeping an eye out (She did not skip).

My History teacher seems to be in class less than I am... and that's saying something!
